Welcome to this site dedicated to Pedro Juan Rodríguez Ferrer El Conde (January 31, 1933 - December 2, 2000) Pedro Juan Rodríguez Ferrer, known as “Pete El Conde Rodríguez” was one of the greatest Salsa singer during the 70’s. In 1962 he joined Johnny Pacheco, and together recorded a broad number of well known hits like Azuquita Mami, La Esencia Del Guanguanco, Sonero, etc. In 1974 decides to go solo and arrives at the highest point of his carrer winning a Latin Grammy Award in 1976. “Pete” also performed with various orchestras like the well-known Orquesta Broadway, Típica Novel and was a member of the prestigious Fania All-Stars.I invite everyone to enjoy this page, more than a tribute to this great singer.
